An escalation note fails the second it reads like a complaint about a colleague. Give the AI both halves: the situation, who is stuck and what you already tried with dates, and the reader, including the fact that these two people have worked together nine years and talk on Sundays. Then the note states dated facts, carries no adjectives about anyone, names the one decision you need, and offers the options. Write it as a status and it stays a status when it gets forwarded. It will get forwarded.
You are writing a stuck-item note to my executive about work sitting with [person]. Context: [what I tried, with dates] [what breaks and when] [the relationship between them]. Rules: dated facts only, no adjectives about the person, one decision requested, two or three options. Under 120 words. Write it assuming it gets forwarded.
2 · Your turn. You write the prompt
The Q3 reforecast has been with Deb Okafor for eleven days, Marcus needs it for a board packet that prints Sept 2, and you have emailed twice and asked once in person. Deb and Marcus have worked together nine years. Write a prompt for a note that raises it without making an enemy.
