What you're taking off their plate

Lesson 3 of 6 · The Daily Rhythm

1 · Learn the move · Specific task + easy yes

Asking your executive "what can I take off your plate?" hands the work of delegating back to them, which is the opposite of help. Ask the AI for a specific artifact instead: six lines, each one a thing you are taking, what you will do with it, and the single word you need back. Then set the default to yes, you proceed unless they say stop by a stated time. A list somebody approves by not objecting is a list that actually moves, and it takes ninety seconds instead of a meeting.

Build my takeover list from these items: [list]. Six rows maximum. Each row: what I am taking, what I will do with it, what I need from my executive in one word or nothing, and when it will be done. Bottom line: I proceed on all of these unless I hear stop by [time]. Nothing from outside my list.

2 · Your turn. You write the prompt

Marcus spent twenty minutes yesterday rescheduling his own dentist, answering a recruiter, and chasing Deb for the reforecast, all of which you could have done faster. Write a prompt that turns your running list into a takeover sheet he can clear in ninety seconds without a conversation.

Remember: the AI sees only your prompt, not this page. If the situation isn't in your prompt, it doesn't exist.

Optional. These shape the output when you run your prompt below, not your score.
