Collect without nagging
Lesson 1 of 6 · The Monday Dashboard
1 · Learn the move · Template pattern
The reason three departments are late every Monday is that you ask three different ways on three different days. The template fixes the asking. Same email, same time Thursday, same fields, same deadline, with the fields written as blanks somebody fills rather than questions somebody answers in prose. Build the set once, the Thursday request, the Friday nudge, and the Monday-morning note that says exactly what's missing, and the collection mostly runs itself. People fill in forms. They ignore reminders that sound like you're personally disappointed in them.
You are building my weekly report-request set. Three emails: Thursday request, Friday nudge, Monday 8am gap note. Same fields every week: [list them]. Each under 80 words, each states the Monday noon deadline, each gives a fill-in block instead of open questions. Neutral tone, no guilt, no exclamation points. Use only my fields and my deadline.
2 · Your turn. You write the prompt
Every Monday you chase three department heads for numbers due at noon, and by 11:40 you're writing reminders that read like apologies. Write a prompt that builds the Thursday set so the chasing mostly stops.
Remember: the AI sees only your prompt, not this page. If the situation isn't in your prompt, it doesn't exist.
Optional. These shape the output when you run your prompt below, not your score.
