The Monday-noon runbook
Lesson 6 of 6 · The Monday Dashboard
1 · Learn the move · Agents + multi-step
The graduation move: one brief that runs the whole Monday, from the reports landing in your inbox to the dashboard sitting in your executive's folder at 11:50. Chain the steps in order, intake, source-tag, compile, flag, narrate, ledger, and build the fallback into the same brief, because the week when every report arrives on time is not the week you need a runbook. The fallback is never "skip it." It's a dashboard that ships at noon with the missing section labeled, the department named, and the time you last asked, so the gap belongs to whoever owns it.
You are running my Monday dashboard end to end. Steps in order: (1) intake, list what arrived and what didn't, (2) compile to my fixed shape with every figure source-tagged, (3) apply my thresholds and flag, (4) two narrative sentences per section, (5) the ledger of [NEEDS] and conflicts with who I chase. FALLBACK: a missing report ships as NOT RECEIVED with the department and the time I last asked. Never estimate a missing section. [reports + thresholds + shape]
2 · Your turn. You write the prompt
It's 11:15 Monday. Operations sent their report. Clinical sent theirs at 11:02 in a different format than usual. Billing hasn't sent anything and isn't answering. The dashboard is due at noon. Write a prompt that ships a real dashboard at 11:50 anyway.
Remember: the AI sees only your prompt, not this page. If the situation isn't in your prompt, it doesn't exist.
Optional. These shape the output when you run your prompt below, not your score.
