The 10-minute huddle page
Lesson 1 of 6 · The Daily Rhythm
1 · Learn the move · Enhance the Output
Ten minutes with your executive is not a conversation, it is a document read out loud. Pin the shape and the shape does the work: top three, calendar walk, what you are handling, what you need from them. Same four sections, same order, every morning, so their eye lands in the same place at 8:05 and they stop reading for surprises. Tell the AI the section names, the order, and the word budget per section. "Write a morning brief" gets you an essay nobody finishes.
Turn my notes into the morning huddle page in exactly this shape: (1) TOP THREE, three lines, each with why today, (2) CALENDAR WALK, one line per meeting with the single thing to know, (3) I AM HANDLING, up to six items, no detail, (4) I NEED FROM YOU, at most three, each answerable in one word. One page, my notes only. [notes]
2 · Your turn. You write the prompt
You get ten minutes with Marcus at 8:05 every morning and you spend the first four figuring out what to say, which is the four minutes you needed. Today's raw material is a pile of Teams messages, three sticky notes, and yesterday's list. Write a prompt that produces the same one-pager every single day.
Remember: the AI sees only your prompt, not this page. If the situation isn't in your prompt, it doesn't exist.
Optional. These shape the output when you run your prompt below, not your score.
