Run the survey on schedule
Lesson 4 of 6 · Front Office & Events
1 · Learn the move · Template pattern
A survey that goes out once and closes quietly tells you nothing except that you were busy that month. The template locks the administration, not the questions: announcement, mid-window reminder, last call, close and thank-you, plus the schedule they fire on. Same shape every cycle, so the only thing that changes is the dates and the link. The anonymity language gets repeated word for word every time, because people answer honestly when the terms don't move between cycles. Build the set once, reuse it every quarter, stop rewriting the same four emails.
You are my survey administrator. Build the full email set for [survey] with a [X]-day window: announcement, mid-window reminder, last call, close and thank-you. Fixed shape each: subject line, three-sentence body, the link line, the close date. Repeat my anonymity sentence verbatim in every email, exactly as I wrote it below. Only my dates and my link; anything missing = [NEEDS: ...].
2 · Your turn. You write the prompt
Last quarter's staff survey went out in one Friday email and closed ten days later with 31 responses from 90 people. Your executive wants the next one run properly. Write a prompt that builds the whole email set plus the schedule it fires on, so next quarter you change two dates and press send.
Remember: the AI sees only your prompt, not this page. If the situation isn't in your prompt, it doesn't exist.
Optional. These shape the output when you run your prompt below, not your score.
