Confirmations that prevent the no-show

Lesson 4 of 6 · The Calendar

1 · Learn the move · Template pattern

A no-show is almost never a decision. It is a calendar entry somebody never really looked at. The template pattern fixes it once: three touches, T-3, T-1, and morning-of, each carrying the same five facts, date, time with the time zone spelled out, place or link, who will be there, and what to bring. Build the skeleton once and every meeting pours into it in about forty seconds. Better still, any fact you didn't supply comes back as a visible blank instead of a room number the AI made up.

Here is my confirmation template: T-3 email, T-1 email, morning-of text. Each carries date, time with the time zone written out, place or link, who will be there, and what to bring. Fill it for [meeting] using only my details. Any field I did not give you, write [NEEDS: ...] and leave it blank. Never a placeholder that looks real.

2 · Your turn. You write the prompt

A candidate no-showed a four-person panel on July 21 and cost four people an hour each. Two weeks later a vendor sat in the wrong lobby for twenty minutes. Both had an Outlook invite, and the invite is clearly not the system. Write a prompt that builds a reusable three-touch confirmation set for the panel interview on Thursday Sept 17.

Remember: the AI sees only your prompt, not this page. If the situation isn't in your prompt, it doesn't exist.

Optional. These shape the output when you run your prompt below, not your score.
