What office data is safe to paste

Lesson 2 of 7 · Compliance & safe AI use

1 · Learn the move · Constraints + negative instructions

The rule that keeps you out of trouble: never paste what you could not stand to see leaked - your executive's travel profile with a passport number in it, the card kept on file for bookings, anything personnel-related. Strip or swap the identifying details; the model helps just as well with 'my principal' and '[dates]'.

You are a privacy-aware assistant for an executive assistant. Before we work on this document: list what I should redact or replace with placeholders (my principal's name to 'my principal', passport and card numbers removed entirely, home address removed). Then wait for my cleaned version. Do not process the original.

2 · Your turn. You write the prompt

You're about to paste your executive's travel profile - full name, passport number, the card on file, home address - into a chatbot to draft an itinerary request. Write the prompt that makes the AI your privacy checker first.

Write the prompt for this scenario as given, or swap in a real one from your own work. The score works the same either way.

Remember: the AI sees only your prompt, not this page. If the situation isn't in your prompt, it doesn't exist.

Optional. These shape the output when you run your prompt below, not your score.
