A draft your executive rewrites is a draft you shouldn't have handed them. The gap is almost never facts, it's voice: they write four lines that open with the answer, the AI writes nine that open with gratitude. Few-shot closes it. Paste three messages they actually sent, make the AI extract the rules before it writes a word, openers, sentence length, sign-off, the words they never use, then draft against those rules. Ten minutes once, and every draft after comes back sounding like them instead of like the internet.
Below are 3 real emails my executive sent. Step 1: extract their voice rules, openers, average sentence length, how they deliver bad news, words they use, and a NEVER list. Step 2: using only those rules, draft a reply to the thread below. Step 3: reread and fix any line that drifted. Facts come only from the thread. Anything the 3 samples can't settle, mark UNKNOWN.
