We gave four AIs a week of an executive's messy inputs. Almost none invented a commitment. Only one told us what it could not confirm.50 synthetic weeks of voice memos, text threads, and meeting notes, seeded with 235 known commitments. Four AI systems, 200 outputs, a deterministic screen written before the first call. Invented commitments were rare — 1 across 200 outputs. Wrong owners and wrong dates were not: 14 of 229 on one system, 3 of 233 on another. And gap-flagging ran from 8 of 50 outputs to 50 of 50.Steve Gustafson · 2026-08-14
